the last month or so i've been having lots of problems with my computer and pop-ups. so i installed ad-aware, spybot search and destroy and avg 6.0 it seems to be working really well.. its my work computer and i work at a 24 hour gym so we need our program to be up 24 hours a day.. well these popups will cover the main screen and not allow people to come in after hours when they swipe their keys. the past week its been working really well.. and it's been getting rid of the tracking cookies. a few days ago i set my internet options to prompt me to save cookies.. that way i wouldnt get another tracking cookie and i could save what i wished... well somehow i've gotten a tracking cookie again.. and ad-aware or spybot arent recognizing it.. but its there and it wont go away! is there another program i can use that will maybe catch it and get rid of it?

Melissa, have you got a Firewall installed?
I had the same problems with pop-ups (normally advertising s/w that......err....blocks pop-ups!) until i installed a firewall called Zone Alarms. Its free, just do a quick google search or visit downloads.com. Dont go for Zone Alarms PRO cos you gotta pay for that!
