TP - no boot from CD/floppy

OS: win 2000
CPU/Ram: pIII/128
Comment:

IBM Thinkpad won't boot from CD or USB floppy. Startup boot settings are correct.
IBM Help can't resolve on the phone.
Anyone else have this problem?

Okay, stupid question perhaps, but are you sure the floppy and/or CD are bootable?

I don't think USB devices function outside of Windows. You may have to use a standard floppy or CD-rom until the system is up.
