Comment:

I have cleaned and repartinoned my second drive with pqmagic under DOS and did not realized that my pagefile.sys was on one of its partitions. When I want to login w2k says that I should extend my pagefile.sys but this I cant do without logging in.
Is it possible to set back or change the pagefile.sys path under the w2k repair console or erd 2000?
Thanks chris

Reply:

boot from floppy using boot disk. at the A:\ type FDISK /MBR press enter

this will reset the master boot record upon next boot. the page file will be reconfigured
