I have too many processes running on my PC. There are about 27 that starts automatically when I starts Windows and I even have svchost.exe running 4 times!
How do I get rid of this? How can I know which processes I need to keep and whichs ones I need to remove? And how do I remove 'em?

There are a lot of background processes in Windows 2000 that need to be running. Here's a nice page showing which Services are safe to change: http://www.blkviper.com/WIN2K/servicecfg.htm

Just follow the guidelines from that web site using the "Safe" recommendation. Start -- Run -- services.msc Double click the item you want to change, then set to "Disable". Don't change any until you read about what each is for at Black Viper's site. Save that web page in case you have any problems and need to reset things back to their default settings.
