Could anyone give some advice as the possible problem with a laptop LCD display problem. I have just upgraded a Thinkpad 390E to Win2K. Bios was updated and new display drivers installed for NeoMagic MagicMedia256AV graphics card. The problem is that I am not getting High Color or True Color, when I set it to that resolution the display appears pixelated or polarised. I have tried plugging in an external monitor and the display is fine so I am assuming that the problem is the LCD laptop monitor. It was displaying fine when running win98, the problem has only arisen after upgrade. Win2K is minimum spec for my broadband ISP so returning to win98 is not an option. Any ideas on what could be causing this would be greatly appreciated.
