hi guys, i haven't used my pc for a while now, and when I turned it on, the sound doesn't work, i tried to reinstall the sound card driver and it doesn't help, do any of you guy know how to fix the problem?

Could be a dead sound card. Here's one thing you can do....if you have access to another PC with a working sound card in it...swap the sound cards and see if they work and go from there.
