I have windows 2000 server SP 4 with most recent updates, which works as an application server and link between UNIX database. Every 2 hours or so I would get an error msgs saying. "The procedure entry point ...... could not be located in dynamic link library KERNEL32.dll". Name of that msg box is "services.exe - Entry Point Not Found" When msg pops up all users are kicked out from the server and they cannot even access it, unless I clicked on OK button, on that msg. In the mean time Event is created with same msg. Event ID is 26. It also refers to the services.exe and to KERNEL32.DLL. ------------- There is another event created. Event: 1202s, Type: Warning , Source: SceCli. Security policies are propagated with warning. 0x7e: The specified module could not be found. For best results in resolving this event, log on with a non-administrative account and search http://support…… for “Troubleshooting Event 1202s”. I'm not going to copy/paste a bunch of junk, so... Go to the Microsoft KnowledgeBase website and search the Windows 2000 section for "entry point not found", you'll get some hits that may or may not be related depending on what apps you're running on that server...
