I have been told many different ways to create user profile in Win2k. One way is to copy the administrator user profile. Another is to login as the user itself and set all the settings.
But what is the correct and simplest way to create a user profile on, let say twenty win2k workstation without have to login as the particular user??

Roaming profiles are the best way to accommodate mutiple users who move from unit to unit. A System Administrator will tell you otherwise. Especically when a user's .dat file gets corrupted. The best way to create local machine profiles is to login as that user. You can force icons to anybody's desktop or startmenu who logs onto the unit by adding those icons to the all users start menu and desktop.

The best way is to create one roaming profile and use it as template for the other users. So create a roaming profile by creating a shared folder and calling it template then create a user and call it whatever you want, after you creat that user go to the properties of the user and in the profile path type (\\servername\template\%username%)where servername is the computer name, then logg on from the workstation as that user and set up everything (desktop etc.). then by creating the other users on the server and after every user created repeating the step of going to the users properties and typing in the profile path (\\servername\template\%username%).
