TFT screen settings

Just got my new TFT screen, its great but I can't use any photos for the background desktop, without them being very blurry.

Is this because my PCs 4 ys old, and so my card's out of date.. or is this a setting problem.

I've installed the correct driver, but the quality is a bit blurry, no way near as good as my old Sony screen.

Any advice appreciated.

are you using the correct resolution? Try just centering the photo instead of whole screen, that should help. Remember pixels are not the same as a cathode ray tube firing electrons to produce an image.
After all that, it may be your card tho.
