I have enable remote control in the User admin under user manager . But this doesnt give me access. So I cant see what the session are doing!!!!!

1. Do I have to purchase the license to get this option???

I dont want to use PCA or VNC as its a reomte site!, and dont want ot install any more software to confuse things

any ideas welcome!

You have me a bit confused. You mention Terminal Services in your description but don't mention if you have it installed. What exactly to you want to do. What 'sessions' are you talking about? If you want to remotely control the servers you can do that with terminal services in w2k server. If you install TS in remote administration mode you don't need to buy additional licenses. TS Remote Admin mode will allow 2 concurrent Administrative connections.

Or - do you want to be able to see what the users are doing on that machine. If that's the case, they will have to make a terminal server connection to that machine using Application mode of TS.

Try to be a bit clearer on what you want to do and avoid using the word 'session'. It's a bit confusing.

Remote control of a user's session is only available in Application mode. Remote Administration mode is the two freebie connections to administer the server.....

you can't remote control "directly" from the server, you need to be in a session yourself, then it is available.

Sorry should have been more specific.

To answer glens question. Yes I would like to be able to view a current users session.

I currently have TS running for the two user admin access.
