The termial server client software is on the Windows 2000 server cd or you can get it a Microsofts web site, http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/pro/downloads/rdclientdl.asp

If you are asking how to install the actual service, you can't.

hi,

i've the remote desktop connection utility running on win 2000 prof, i want to log on to another windows 2000 prof box using remote desktop connection. i could log on to win 2000 server and advanced server.

Exactly. It is not supported in Professional, only the Server OSs.
