I posted this yesterday but still need more help...
I was having some problems with my OE so I un-installed and re-installed TCP/IP...the connection says I'm somehow conected...yet I am not sending and hardly getting packets or anyhting...
I am also connected to a linksys router...and cannot even get to it's configuration IP address....
I tried resetting the router, nothing happened. when I use ipconfig I'm given an autoconfiguration IP address and a submask. I can ping that auto IP...but that's about it. I cannot ping any other IP's or www's....

If you're getting an APIPA address it means you're not receiving proper IP addressing from the DHCP server (or in your case your router likely) Try statically assigning your IP address and that should clear things up. I'm not familiar with your router but if it's set to IP address: 192.168.0.1 with subnet mask 255.255.255.0 you should set the IP address on your PC to 192.168.0.2 with the same subnet mask as above and, 192.168.0.1 as your default gateway.
