I'm using windows 2000 professional in a network, I've problem with Task Scheduler.
On some computers it works and on some computers it doesn't run at all regardless of service pack 1 installed or not.
If any body has any info then please let me know as soon as possible. I've compared all the services which are running on both computers where the task scheduler is running and where it is not running.

Atiq,

I am having soem problems with MSTASK as well. On some machines it is fine, on others it stays in the "starting" mode and never gets out of it. It eats 8k chunks of memory at a time. Print Spooler does the same thing on these machines. If you hear of any possible fixes, I would appreciate a heads up.
