Task Manager does not show up

Computer: Dell Latitude C640 OS: Windows 2000 Pro SP4 When I press Ctrl+Alt+Del and click Task Manager button, Task Manager window does not show up. Also, Ctrl+Shift+ESC, T.M. does not show up either... The only way I can launch T.M., click right-button and click Task Manager on the menu. I tried this issue on several same computer that I am using... They all have same problem... Does anybody know what the problem is...? How can I fix this problem? Help me~~~
