System will not suspend

System hangs when attempting to enter suspend mode. All Power Options are configured for suspend as well as the Bios settings.

what is your definition of suspend? are you talking about hibernation? or are you talking about sleep mode?

Sleep mode or actually standby as it's named in Power Options... It seems the OS hangs up. I get a window that reads (Preparing to standby). From that point I have to use the reset button to reboot. The monitor will sleep, however I notice that I need to re-apply the settings in Power Options following a reboot or the monitor will not sleep or STANDBY.
