I get this message when i try to run a batch file on windows 2000 pro that attempts to map a network drive to a machine running NETBEUI. It was working prior to a windows update i recently ran. I have IP and NETBEUI installed on the 2000 machine but cant get the connection now to work. I have searched the net but cant find what the error means, can anyone help??

Regards

LC

I get the same thing. Service pack 4 broke this.
I am actively looking for a solution.
The problem seems to be that the older client that I am trying to net use to is sending something that service pack 4 doesn't like. Service pack 3 did not have this issue.
