When I run Symantec's LiveUpdate to perform updates on my Norton SystemWorks 2002 installation, it appears to be progressing but then fails with an error message as follows:
"LU1806: LiveUpdate was not able to install any of the 1 updates that you selected. For more information please click the "+" sign next to the update(s) that did not install. All available updates were selected."
The additional error message is listed as "LiveUpdate had an internal error while getting your updates. Your Symantec programs were not updated.
You should try getting updates at a later time. If LiveUpdate fails again with this error, you should re-install LiveUpdate."
This is on Windows 2000 SP3, with Norton SystemWorks 2002 and Liveupdate 1.8 (downloaded from Symantec's site directly.)
I've tried uninstalling, reinstalling, reinstalling SystemWorks, etc. Nothing has solved the problem. This has always worked properly in the past until I had to transfer my drive to a new drive and then uninstall and reinstall SystemWorks.
This is making me nuts and wasting a ton of time! I've conquered every problem I've ever encountered yet this one has got me completely stuck.
Has anybody had this issue and resolved it?
Pleeeeeeeeeez! :)
Thanks.

Maybe if you would read the replies to your first post instead of just posting the same question again, you might have better luck.
Or maybe you could just keep asking the same question over and over again and see what happens.
