Dear Sir,

We hv a wireless WAN and facing some problem with the connection (Connection gets disconnected aften and aften for one day) atleast once in a month. So i am planning to take a backup connection ( ISDN Line ). Now my question is.

1) Is there any router which can detect the link whether it is down or up and if it is down it should automatically switch over to ISDN.

2) If there is a solution, what r the requirements to implement it.

3) Please send the reply to ravishashihari@gmail.com

Thanks
Ravi Kumar. K

There appear to a few access-routers that offer this facility:

http://www.zyxel.com/web/product_fa...

is one such...; and at:

http://www.expresscomputeronline.co...

look for the SonicWall’s TZ 170 SP Wireless item.

And probably there are others too mentioned at this latter link, and also elsewhere on the web?

A search in google using:

automatic failover and failback dsl to isdn

as the search term/string, will bring up a few hits - including the above.
