I have this c:\winnt\systems32\svhost.exe trying to access the net, my norton works warns me. It (svhost.exe) is also running in the task monitor, four of them!
If it is svhost you could have a problem. There is an IRC server that utilizes this file and it has been a popular installation on hacked systems. Do you have passwords on all the administrator accounts on your system? Check.
