Download and run CWShredder It should clean your system. Then download and run Spybot Delete the items shown in red. If you are still experiencing problems, download and run HijackThis Then post the report in the Security and Virus forum so that someone can inform you what to delete. If you do not get a response then post your report on the site where you downloaded HijackThis.

hey i used to had that error too, it just pops up after like a miute after windows has started, and it happens everytime.

i cant remember how i fixed it but. have you got a firewall? (if you dont then install one)

then go here:

http://www.ntlworld.com/tunnel.php?step=introduction

and follow teh steps. maybe it'll help. good luck.

by the way, you have to use norton in safe mode to get rid of some viruses.

hey rajendra

well, download a patch for MS BLAST.exe from www.symantec.com
run it in safe mode and it will solve your problem

then , boot windows normally and update your virus definitions and do a FULL SYSTEM SCAN

that will definitely solve your problem

Hi everyone suffers from svchost.exe,

Here is the solution,
1. download FixSBigF at symantec's web site
2. download patch for worm viruses at microsoft web site below;
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/security/bulletin/ms03-026.asp
3. restart windows in SAFE mode (by pressing F8, when you see "windows is starting..." on the black screen, as windows is starting)
4. run FixSBigF application for cleaning the worm viruses such as msblast, mslaugh or teekids
5. run the patch which you've already downloaded from microsoft's web site.
6. congratulations, now you are free of svchost errors.

This error may not be virus related. I installed ZoneAlarm firewall (free download) and these errors ceased*** I would suggest this download and installation to not only solve this problem but to also protect you from everything else out there. :)
