Sounds exactly like at least one of the recient viruses got to your comp. OK..I've had the same svchost.exe error message. I have the BlackIce firewall installed, yet my antivirus did, in fact, find the Lovesan (sp?) virus on my computer and deleted it. That's when all these problems of not being able to link, cut and paste, or even get into my hotmail account started. Now, it's giving me more error messages, some "Dr.Watson" one, and a YPager error message that shuts down my messenger. I can't even get into my Word program, and all of my history gets deleted every time I restart, which is 20 times a day just to get it to function 1/2 way decent! HELP! If someone can help me out in non-computereze, I'd appreciate it so much! I don't understand the tech talk..! Thanks so much!

Dear All, I did run " fixblast.exe " but did not find the virus. Still that pop up message " svchost.exe " keeps coming. I am installing service pack 4 to inspect my configuration. Wjat shall i do now? Thanks for your help Nasser
