Hey! I would really really appreicate it if someone could help me out with this one. I keep getting this message "svchost.exe has generated errors and will be closed by windows - you will need to restart the program" once I've been online for about 5 minutes. After I get that message I can no longer open microsoft works, without restarting my computer. And it also does something weird and I can't open a certain site that I need for school. All of this is corrected if I restart my computer but messes back up after about 5 mins. I downloaded service pack 2 last night hoping it would help, but it didn't. If anyone has any ideas how to fix this, I would really appreciate it!! Thanks so much, Erin

You've gotta update past service pack 2... Gotta go to service pack 4. As for fixing the crashing long enough so you can download/work on your computer and remove the worm that's infecting you, read this forum: http://www.computing.net/windows2000/wwwboard/forum/50444.html
