I have a windows 2000 server in my network environment and have noticed that there are some files on one of the partitions that are created in Excel that resemble some statistical data, but I'm just not sure what this info is or how it was created. When I look at the summary tab there is some information listed i.e. the Author's name, Last saved by name, application, company nmae, date of creation, and date last saved. I'm wondering if anyone has every seen this before. I am able to delete some of the files and some of the files I can't delete. The file types are all different but similar in syntax. Some of the file types are: G50 file, 2GK file, 75V File, 4L5 file. Any ideas?

My server has all the latest updates via Windows update. What would that have to do with the files I am seeing? Have you seen these files before or have any idea how they were generated? thanks.
