Strange audio problem

CPU/Ram: 1200/256Ram

Lately when i play mp3's or play games. the wave volym goes to zero and shuts the sound of. Same thing when i change a song in winamp the sounds dissepears and i have to move the wave volym up or down, then the sounds starts again...

Im impressed if anyone can solve this wierd thing.. Thanks/Mike

Forgot to say it's a Soundblaster 1024 Live.
