If you do not see the shortcut for those startup program in /startup menu/programs/startup, you can edit the registry. You'll see the Real Audio Start Center here:
\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Microsoft\CurrentVersion\Run

Pickup a little freeware program called startup cop.......works with all OS's and is very handy as far as telling what is starting and you can disable certain things from starting or remove there entry all together. I use it all the time to disable virus software etc. Most of the virus programs are more of an anoyance that a help. And they can slow your machine to a crawl. It ridiculas to think you have to scan your intire harddrive everytime you boot up. Where programmers got this idiotic idea I will never know.

Even easier than what's already been suggested is to go to http://www.mlin.net/StartupCPL.shtml and download a copy of the StartupCPL. Intense, easy to use little program that'll turn off annoying startup programs. I installed it today and turned off a program which has been bogging down my system at startup for weeks now since I installed it. Give it a try. I'm sure you'll agree it's easier than messing around in the registry.
