Any of you Pros know what is causing this Blue Screen Error?
Stop: C000026C {Unable to load device driver} \SystemRoot\System32\Drivers\NV4_mini.sys device driver could not be loaded. 0xc0000221.
(The NV4_mini.sys driver is for my Nvidia Card)
This is the second time now for this error. It happens on boot up. The boot up is the first one after I have performed maintenance ie. Scandisk and Defrag of my hard drives. So the next bootup after running these utilities I get the error. I turn the computer off and boot up into Safe Mode. I check the directory and the NV4_mini.sys file is there, so don't understand why it won't load. I recently updated the Nvidia Drivers to version Nvidia W2kXP-2183.zip.OS Windows 2000 Pro w/SP2 and all current Windows Updates
AZZA P4X2-AV Motherboard w/Pentium 4 1600 Processor
512 Megs Memory DDR SDRam
Nvidia Riva TNT2 AGP 2X/4X graphics card
Plexwriter RWCDR 12/10/32A
IBM 20 Gig HDThanks in advance for any help. L Sanders Sr

Well it think it the driver that you updated recently causing the problem..Are your sure those driver are for Win2000 Pro not for XP..
Go to SAFE MODE and Uninstall those driver. Reboot the computer, i believe windows will intall those drive automatically,
if not than guide the setup toward the driver you have for Win2000 and after the setup finish reboot the system..if the problem is the same after that..then go to manifacture website to see if they put any new driver for win2000.

The drivers you mentioned are the right drivers... Nvidia release new drivers all the time and they are the same for XP and W2k...
Try uninstalling those drivers, use the default windows drivers for now untill Nvidia update thier drivers which they do nearly every month... I have had no problems with my Nvidia drivers with exactly the same card as you
