I at work I have this problem of people installing(games)on my work staion Win2000 pro. How do we go about fixing it that they can not install crap like that on the pc? Need step by step on how to do this or something else to help me with this problem.

you need to setup different logins on your computer. if you are an administrator then you can assign different rules and priveledges to each separate user. EG. you can setup power users and limited users. power users would be able to install software and the limited users would not be able to. To do this you need to go to control panel and go to users and passwords. .. from here you can set yourself up as administrator and assign whatever user capabilities you wish for the other users. .. you will need to setup a profile for each user and assign what applications they can use.
