Is there any way to stop a user from deleting files on a file server. If you give the user Read and Write rights only, they cannot save a MS Office file. MS Office creates tmp files and the user does not have the right to delete them. User have to be able to change and save MS Office documents but do not want them to be able to delete.

Under advanced permissions, edit the settings for the everyone group to deny delete.

The everyone group has been removed. The only groups with access are Administrator, Administrators, A group for upper management and Users.
