Comment:

I have a Dell Dimension 700 which worked fine last week. All of a sudden it won't boot and I get the blue screen with the following message:

*** STOP: 0x0000006B (0xC0000006,0x00000000,0x00000000) PROCESS_INITIALIZATION_FAILED

I can't even boot up in safe mode.

Any suggestions would be most appreciated!

Any new hardware installed? If not, I suggest making Windows PE 1.1 disk. You can get a copy from here http://www.nu2.nu/pebuilder/

It's a much needed software tool.
