I bought myself a new machine withe these hardware-configs: MSI mainboard K7T Pro2, AMD Athlon 800Mhz, 2HDD both Seagate, 1x10gb, 1x40gb, TNT2 32Mb graphic-card My problem starts at the end of Win2000Adv.Server As setup reboots the system so that the OS startsup for configuration, I get a blue screen saying: "ole32.dll corrupted". So I d/l this Dll-file from the internet I tried to install it with the Recovery Console, but I still get the same errormessage. I tried to install win2000adv.server on a other machine with a voodoo banshee2 graphic card, a 350Mhz CPU 182Mb Ram while the first machine had 256 Ram, I440 BX at-mainboard and it works. Please help me to gat win2000 installed on the other machine. thx

First make sure you have the latest BIOS. Then poke around some AMD sites to see if you need any kind of patches or anything for your processor. Then try and install Windows 2000 without any extra cards (if you have integrated video, pull out the video card). Install with the bare minimums......

Ive installed win2k Server on my AMD works fine. Using A7v133 mainboard, ATI Rage card, 256MB RAM 20GB HDD also seen installed on ur MSI Board too with an 1.2GhZ processor no probs also, is your CD the actual release or??
