In another thread I described a problem with my slave hard drive where it no longer has a logical drive letter so I am unable to access the data on the drive. A Google search may have led me to a solution.

Stellar Phoenix Recovery Software (http://www.stellarinfo.com) will let you download a limited version that allows you to see files on the hard drive that can be recovered with the full version. I downloaded the crippled version and, lo and behold, all my data is visible and recoverable!

I am planning on ordering this S/W as it appears it will do what I need. At $129 ($149 with CD) the price is reasonable if it can perform as advertised.

Does anyone here have any experience with this software? Any firsthand experience would be appreciated.

Success! All files successfully recovered.

I am very pleased with this s/w. It is easy and very intuitive to use. I recommend it.

congratulate!
I would suggest other data recovery software:
Easyrecovery, Finaldata, recovermyfile and EASEUS DataRecoveryWizard.

They are very excellent tool!

I am keeping that list, Luke. While I was extremely pleased with Stellar Phoenix this time I might need something else next time.

Thanks.
