hi there, anyone can tell me that win2k got any start up selection like win98(msconfig)?Cos recently i just uninstall some program and now whenever i startup my pc, the very first moment the screen reach desktop, a few prompt up and say that certain x program cannot be loaded where x are the uninstall program...

Hello there, you can use a little program for windows called RegCleaner. Open the program and click on startup list, now all u have to do is remove the reg entries that u dont want to run during startup.

u can get the program here

Haven't tried regcleaner, but here's one that can be installed as a control panel.
It's free and works very well:

two things, you CAN add msconfig to w2k and you can just remove the programs from the startup in the registry, takes 30 seconds...
