For some reason my PC has started up in the administrator mode in stead of my personal user mode, thus chaging my desktop. I have to log off administrator and re-log in.
How can I chage it back to start up in the desired mode?

Try installing one of the Tweak programs. Go to the USER portion. There should be an option similar to this. "Log this user on at system startup". There should also be an option to enter your password automatically, if you are the only user of your computer you can opt to use this feature.
