Hi,

So i've got W2K. I installed IE6 SP1 and now the about dialog of IE6 says build 6.0.2800.1106 but the encryption level states 56-bit... why? I installed the Windows 2000 High Encryption update but it still hasn't changed, and i even tried manually installing (the installer had a version check blocker) IE 5.01 128-bit encryption patch... Can anybody help?

Thanks.

Regards, Ben

What service pack level are you at for Windows 2000? Make sure you install SP4 and all the post SP4 updates.
