Hi,
I have 2 servers with Windows 2000 Clustering. A few days ago, the spoolsv started to suck up a lot of RAM memory with no apparent cause. These servers doesn´t have any conection to Novell servers.
Does someone has any tip or solution for this case?
also there is an actively speading worm that replaces spoolsv.exe (or is it spoolsrv.exe - or both?) and drops a viral payload that frequently includes keylogging capabilities so you'll want to rule that out.
G'luck

Mine started after installing software for new HP 1210 all in one, won't shut down after print job, doesn't seem to recognize the EOF, and when you "cancel all docs", it just ignores the command.
HP software engrs are looking into it for a solution
You might look into a software glich on newly installed perifials
