Spell check not working

Hi We have Office Xp installed but the spell check don't work in Word even if I go into option and choose recheck documents. I tried to type some mistakes but no green underline. What is wrong? Thanks Ken

Thats ususlly a setting in options. It says something like "Check spelling as you type" with a tick box. Tom
