I had an SOYO computer given to me with an 80 gig hardrive, it has windows 2000 installed. I haven't hooked it up yet. I was wondering how to identify the model to see what processor this thing has. Thanks, I won't be back on a computer until Monday

My 2 Computers:

IBM Netvista 6578-LAU Windows 98SE

Dell Demension 4300 Windows XP Home 384MB

AST A LAPTOP

Windows 95 16MB

SOYO is the MBoard manufacturer, unless SOYO built PC and I don't know about it. Either way, there are probably a series of processors that were available that would work. Use the link above or try AIDA32, Everest Home or Belarc. Not on a Win2000 rig at the moment but I believe all that info is also available from within Windows too.

I got some more information on the PC, the lady said that she ordered the parts and had it put together. I will be trying it on Friday when I get back home.
