soundblaster PCI 128 driver

CPU/Ram: 500Mhz 256MB

After installing the soundblaster driver mp3 and mpg files are running too fast and i only hear distored sound. I tried the official creative driver. What can I do???

go to the device manager and uninstall your driver, then restart computer, let it find sound card automatically and let it install drivers for it. if that works fine then good, if you still want to use creative drivers, use the creative one but if problem comes back then you know where it lies.
