I'm getting a data error message when trying to install drivers for my Multimedia Audio Device (which is Sound Blaster Live Value). I have tried downloading the newest drivers and even flashed my bios to see if it would anything. Any ideas?
I have a ASUS P2B-F motherboard and 350 Mhz PII processor. 128 MB SDRAM.

I had problems with the win2k drivers and software from Creative's site also. I went back to the drivers that windows installed to begin with and scrapped the Creative software bundle and haven't had a bit of trouble since.

I have an SBLive! value too, and i left the default drivers that windows installs, then applied the ServicePack1 and then updated the drivers from Creative, and everything worked fine...

I have the same problem when i installed the bundled software and the updated software off the net, even after the ServicePack and the problem with the WIN2000 puts there defualt, some speakers done use the defualt schemes like 2 speakers,4 speakers and you don't get to use the card to its ablility. In the end i just put WINME on. Crap operating system but it works.

I have a sound blaster live Value. After windows, as usual, installed its drivers, the sound blaster live Value works, and i can open normally some files as .wav or .mp3, but i can't hear anything!! The sound card is in the system, but the speakers (which had always worked correctly and works now too) don't play any sound! I tried to download the latest drivers, but the problem persists.
Please, answer me as soon as possible.Thanks.
