My problem is that i had originally Win ME installed on my computer. Win Me crashed and i couldn`t install i again. ( It got corrupted). So i installed win2000 on partition F:, and use this now. I have manually deleted the programs (HP Software) that where on c:. When i now install new programs on win2000 everythings works fine exept "Hp Photosmart software." The istallation wizzard starts fine, but suddenly it stop and dissapear from the screen. In task manager there is no trace of the program. The machine act like nothing has happend.
My question is therfore: Is there a registry key or somthing that still i left and need to be deleted?

First go make sure that piece of software works with W2K. Then start looking at your Event Viewer for more info on what may have gone wrong.
I'm betting you need to upgrade that software to get it to work right with Windows 2000.....
