does anyone know of a software program that checks the compatability of movie clips such as avi files....appreciate any info to my email address. I have quite a few files I want to join but they appear to be incompatible...want to find a program that sorts out compatible files within a folder.... thanx

I believe it works the other way around. You have to associate file types with programs already installed. example, avi files will open in quicktime or mediaplayer but needs you to tell it which. That's always been my way. sorry if i misunderstood. -f
