slow dsl connection/bandwidth

i have dsl, but the past couple of days everytime i sign on, the internet is really slow...slower than when i had 56k...am i being hacked, is someone stealing my bandwidth, does anyone know what may be causing this, and if so, how i can fix this

First of all, ring your ISP. Less than 56k sounds like trouble. Let me know what they say...

i called them up and the problem was actually quite simple to solve...all i had to do was power down the modem for a few minutes and it was ok...thanks
