Slow Boot

My win 2000 is taking over 3hours to boot!!!

It hangs on the 10th blue block used to show the start up screen.

I think I may have been attacked!

Any ideas on how to fix this problem.

that's probably a driver that you installed that hang it. You can't really know what is the source of the problem but check the windows log file to try to find out the trouble... (red thing should be checked...)

I found this problem in my network. Most of the time it is video card which creates this problem. In ur case, it might be different. Worth try.

try and error one by one of your hard ware. plug out and plug in one by one. :)
