Hey guys,
For the first time I came upon this "should not see me" message. I do not believe it is a virus(well I might be wrong I had just cleaned the KLEZ virus off of it) ...it sounds like the programmers put it there because that piece of code should never run. The other unusual thing is that at the same time everytime that I open/run Internet Explorer 5.0 and 6.0( I upgraded thinking that was the problem) the Windows Installer windows pops up saying something to the effect that it is installing something but it does not install anything and goes away. Internet Explorer works fine after that but I don't know what is going on.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.Adrian

The klez virus damanged your registry and probably some system files. The smartest thing to do is to just backup what you know is safe, reformat and reinstall.

Sounds to me that there is still a virus active. I don't think programmers put in code which is not supossed to run. Why would they do that? Do you have a decent antivirus program? If not download a tool to remove Klez. Go to antivirus.com (or whatever it is called, you will be redirected) to learn more on certain viruses. I had a Klez infection, too, and I do not believe it tampers with the registry. But ther are like 7 variants, so who knows. Check for programs running with strange names.
