Comment:

My hard-drive is partitioned; one one partition is Windows 2000 and on the other is Red Hat 7.2. For my windows 2000 when I get

C:\WINNT\System32\shdoclc.dll/dnserror.htm

when I open IE. This used to work fine for almost a year

I have tried the IPCONFIG /RELEASE and IPCONFIG /RENEW but all I get is a socket error.

Any suggestions other than reformatting my hard drive and making a new install?

On another note I am able to surf without any problems on the Red Hat OS. This suggests to me that the NIC is working properly. Can you please help?

Thanks

Shariq
