I have this laptop with a PCMCIA CD rom and a Zip drive that are not always connected to the computer. But, when they are connected I would like them to get shared on the network without having to setup sharing each time they get pluged in and unpluged. Is this possible?

Thanks

Offhand I'd say NO, but I could be wrong since I'm not a laptop junkie....

I forgot to say that the computer would be turned on and off with the device not attached. Then it would lose the sharing setting. If you just remove the drive, then plug it back it in again then there isn't a problem.
