Sharing Folders with Win2000

When right clicking on a folder I do not have the sharing option. Going to the properties of a folder I do not have the Sharing tab. Going to the Computer Management Shared Folders I click on Create New share file and I get the Error 2114 The Server Service is Not Started. HELP!!!

Hi,
Sounds to me like you dont have, File and Print sharing installed. Right click, my network places on your desktop, then right click you local area connection, and from there you need to install a service, called File and Print sharing, that should do the trick. Any problems let me know.

Server service is needed to do your task. Stopping of this service may have been caused by conflict in network. does this computer have multiple NIC? try to disconnect all cables from the machine and then reboot it when server service is up reconnect the cables.
If not this then its just File and Printer sharing taht you need to add
