Sharing cable modem

I was wondering, if I just get a USB hub and run a usb cable from each computer, to the hub and then from the hub to my `NetMate Link` CATC. Will this work? Or would it be better to get something like a Broadway Internet Gateway. I want to use as few cables as possible. Appreciate any help.

Depends if both PC's will be online @ the same time. Hubs only split the connection.. you need a router to divide the connection so both PC's can be online @ the same time.
Dlink or linxus are the best
hope this helped

No. the router suggestion may work, but I'd just network the 2 PC's together in some way and then use ICS. You will need 2 network connections in one machine, one to your cable modem, and one to your internal network (the other machine).
