Ok Here is the scenario. I have a windows 2000 server. What i want to do is share the access databases with some workstations that are at a different location(not in the same LAN). These workstations have Interenet.
What options do i have to do this? What do i need? Please give me details. Can anyone give me more information on this? Can anyone provide me with useful links and Resources?
I have heard of VPN. What do i need for that? do i need two network cards? A private IP? a private gateway? Step by step please

Remote and local office's access client may connect to a SQL server instead of internal DB.

By VPN, i mean i real strong solution that use IPSEC standard!!! this will ensure a strong encryption and secure key exchange.
