I have a printer connect directly to a windows xp computer. Can I share it with other three laptop (windows xp laptop, windows 2000 laptop and a windows 98 laptop). The windows xp computer is workgroup in workgroup. The xp laptop is set to "abc" domain, the 2000 laptop is set to "defg" domain, and the 98 laptop is set to "hij" domain. Those xp computer, xp laptop and 2000 laptop connect to a hub, another 98 laptop connect to another hub in the other room. These two hub is connect to each other. I cannot see other laptop in Network Place. Please help me to use the printer. Thanks.

If the computers are in a workgroup then they are not in a domain. the computers should all be in the same domain or workgroup, use the same protocal NetBEUI , TCP/IP etc. If TCP/IP configure IP address corectly. Then share the printer on the XP Comp Install additional drivers if needed for the 98 machine. Make sure the share name is under 15 charters or the 98 machine will not see it. You probably will not be able to see other computers in Network places if you do not enable file and print sharing on the compuers.
The short answer: if the computers all ready talk to each other than share the printer on the XP machine install any additional drivers needed for the 98 machine. keep the share name under 15 charectors.
